Summary

Catelectric Corp. (CE) is a private early stage company with a mission to develop products for the clean energy markets (fuel cells and pollution control) based on its proprietary platform catalytic process technology. The CE processes provide an effective set of methods for controlling the type and number of catalytic sites (areas where the chemical reactions occur). The result is a substantial enhancement of the yield of a catalytic system (by 100 – 500 % or even better). The CE processes achieve the desired degree of manipulation of the properties of catalytic interfaces/sites through the modification of some of their physical characteristics at nanometer level. Different configurations of adaptive software-controlled electronics plugged into the system are used to establish and measure in real time the parameters quantifying the catalytic properties of the system, according to the core patents owned by the Company. From the viewpoint of the mechanisms underlying their action, the CE processes are dynamic nanotechnologies.

Catelectric is a member of the Technology Incubation Program of the University of Connecticut.
